My favorite day of the year...the day after Thanksgiving when we go on our annual Vineyard tour. This was our 8th year!

We went to the beach in the beginning of November for a well earned break. We joined the Emerson's at Neskowin.

Is it November already?!

Halloween Night--Jack sacked out after three houses.
Kate Looney as Ariel, Carson Looney as a pumpkin, Addie Emerson as Elmo and Jackson Freeman as a pumpkin.

The Palisades Mamas--Rose and Robin. Jack looks absolutely thrilled, as does Jackson. The boys had a busy day. Jackson and Jack were the grand marshalls of the Harvest Parade at Palisades. They both held their own and ignored the crazy moms who wanted to tear them out of our arms.

Maddie and her mama Kate!
The pre-funk gathering before we headed out for trick-or-treating. This involved major drool wipe ups and Moscow Mules!!

In August, I got flower happy with my camera. Now, I'm leaf happy...

Mt. Tabor walk

I wish I could say that the couple was Justin and I sitting, comtemplating the vast October colors sprawled about the city, but I took this with one hand while bottle feeding Jack. Pill Hill is across the way.

"To New Beginnings..."

Jack tried his first "orange" food today. Through the sequence of pictures, you can tell how it went. Baby steps...

"We are all wearing funny hats!"

Bath time with Dad. I officially "outed" Juice as a bath lover years ago. His hobby comes in handy when it's time to clean the baby.

Our dear friend Paola Porreca came to town. We ate out a bunch and drank a bunch: hence the title of this blog. Paola's cousin Monica always starts a round of drinks by saying, "to new beginnings". It never got old over the weekend. Neither did ending every inappropriate sentence or saying with a, "that's what she said" ala Michael from The Office.
I don't know what it is about our dog, but he sure likes to get comfy with our guests. Cripes Mick!
